Call for Papers
To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the NIA’s Alzheimer’s Disease Research Centers (ADRCs) Program and the 25th anniversary of the National Alzheimer’s Coordinating Center (NACC), as well as the 10th anniversary of NIAGADS and 35th anniversary of NCRAD, Alzheimer’s & Dementia is pleased to issue a call for papers for a Special Issue of the Journal. It will highlight how these programs and the data, standards, and methods that they generate are playing a critical role in addressing the most pressing challenges in the field, including:
- Advancing early detection
- Disentangling disease heterogeneity
- Validating blood biomarkers
- Identifying and stratifying risk factors and protective mechanisms
- Developing precision medicine solutions
- Ensuring diversity and the generalizability of findings
The Guest Editors are Kathleen Welsh-Bohmer, PhD, Andrew Saykin, PsyD, Sarah Biber, PhD.
