About the host
Dr. Nathaniel Chin is a geriatrician, memory clinic doctor, and medical director for the Wisconsin Alzheimer's Disease Research Center. His father's diagnosis with early onset Alzheimer’s disease inspired him to pursue a career as a geriatrician and scientist focused on dementia prevention, especially in regard to Alzheimer's disease.
Dementia Matters Special Series: The National Strategy for Alzheimer's Disease Data and Research
This six-part special mini-series aims to educate listeners on the National Institute on Aging's (NIA) strategy for collecting and sharing data between the Alzheimer's Disease Research Centers (ADRCs) by featuring highlights from the National Alzheimer's Coordinating Center's (NACC) 2022 Spring ADRC Meeting.
It begins with an interview with Dr. Walter Kukull, the director and principal investigator of the National Alzheimer's Coordinating Center. The series continues with weekly episodes spotlighting scientific presenters as they discuss the systems and processes involved in collecting data and conducting Alzheimer's disease research.
This special podcast mini-series is a collaboration between Dementia Matters, the National Alzheimer's Coordinating Center, and the National Institute on Aging.
